BOMA makes 2014 board appointments

The 2014 appointments to the board of directors for the San Diego Building Owners & Managers Association have been announced, with Kristin Howell of Meissner Jacquet Investment Management Services named BOMA's new president.

Howell, a real property administrator and the most recent vice president of San Diego BOMA, will lead the organization's board beside Lynn Hulbert of Brandywine Realty Trust, who will serve as vice president.

“I’m looking forward to making BOMA an even more productive, effective organization with each member participating and getting maximum value from their membership in 2014,” Howell in a release. “This year’s exceptional board of directors is an optimal team to lead BOMA through another successful year.”

Lisa Lasho of ABM Services will serve as secretary, and Michael Nelson of Kilroy Realty Corp. will serve a fourth year as treasurer. Craig McMahon of Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP will serve in his eighth term as general counsel.

The 2014 members-at-large on the board are Katie Blizzard of Four Seasons Tree Care, Sam Cadwallader of New Way Landscape & Tree Services, Michele Ignacio of A.O. Reed, BJ Van Aken of CBRE and Amber Molina of Colliers International. Past President Mike Hansen of CBRE will advise the new board of directors as the 11th board member.
