Apartment on Upper Hermosa in La Jolla sold

The seven-unit Casa Rosada Apartments in the Upper Hermosa neighborhood at 6241-6253 La Jolla Blvd., La Jolla 92037, has been sold for $2.2 million.

The buyer was La Jolla Casa Rosada LLC, a California limited liability company, 2255 Calle Clara, La Jolla 92037. Pacific Beach Investments is the corporation manager of the buyer. Diane L. Blumenthal is president, and Norman B. Blumenthal is secretary, of Pacific Beach. The acquisition was financed with a loan of $900,000 from Novasel & Schwarte Investment Inc., dba Western Highland Mortgage Co.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 351-603-01) was Mark D. Wilson, special administrator under the estate of Eileen Gambs, aka Eileen Frances Gambs, aka Eileen Goggin Gambs.

Robert Vallera, senior vice president and Matt Kennedy, multi-family associate, with Voit Real Estate Services, represented the seller. Gary B. Urtiaga, senior vice president with Apartment Realty Group represented the buyer.

The two-story courtyard complex was constructed in approximately 1952 and consists of four two-bedroom/one-bath units, three one-bedroom units and six tuck-under carport spaces.
