99 Cents in El Centro

Retail: 99 Cents Only Stores has leased 17,192 square feet of retail space in The Plaza at Imperial Valley, at the northeast corner of Dogwood Road and Danenberg Drive, El Centro, 92243, from RJRP LLC, c/o The Russ Group Inc.

The property was leased for 10 years at $2.7 million.

The lessee was represented by Kevin Cassidy, of Cassidy Turley. The lessor was represented by Mike Clark and Joe Yeter, also of Cassidy Turley.

In early 2013, Beverages & More Inc. leased 9,822 square feet for 123 months at $2.11 million; ULTA Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance signed a 10-year, four-month lease for 9,809 square feet at $2 million; and Kirkland's Home leased 7,220 square for 10 years at $1.12 million.

Other tenants include Olive Garden, Best Buy, Old Navy, Burlington Coat Factory, Vitamin Shoppe and Subway.

The 14-building, approximately 387,279-square-foot mall was constructed in 2007.


Retail: Pacific Dental Services Inc. has leased 2,672 square feet of retail space at Garnet Shopping Center, 1975 Garnet Ave., Suite E, San Diego, 92109, from Rentschler Trust Dated March 19, 1991. The property was leased for 10 years at $968,599.

The lessee was represented by Kevin Cassidy, of Cassidy Turley. The lessor was represented by Reg Kobzi, of CBRE (NYSE: CBG).

Other tenants include Pizza Hut and Jersey Mike's (a 10-year lease at $759,514 for 1,772 square feet).


Retail: Pieology has leased 2,118 square feet of retail space at 1340 W. Valley Parkway, Suite 402, Escondido, 92029, from Valley Parkway-Vineyard Partnership. The property was leased for $754,514.

The lessee was represented by Matt Moser, of Retail Insite. The lessor was represented by Phil Lyons, Bruce Schiff and Andrew Peterson, of Cassidy Turley.


Office: Lava Media LLC has leased 1,777 square feet of office space at 285 N. El Camino Real, Suite 217, Encinitas, 92024, from North El Camino Real LLC. The property, leased for 60 months at $112,751, will be used for a general office.

The lessee was represented by Brian Ffrench, of Tenant Consulting Services. The lessor was represented by Mike Paeske and Rich Lee, of CFI.


Office: Gold Circle Video & Digital Services LLC has leased 9,126 square feet of office space at 285 N. El Camino Real, Suite 213, Encinitas, 92024, from North El Camino Real LLC. The property was leased for 12 months at $9,126.

The lessee was represented by Seth Robinson, of Red Tree Realty. The lessor was represented by Mike Paeske and Rich Lee, of CFI.
