County leases in El Cajon

Office: The county of San Diego has leased the 10,632-square-foot office building at 1000 Broadway, El Cajon, 92021, from the Charles L. Nichols Trust. The property was leased for 60 months at $1,316,878.

The lessee represented itself. The lessor was represented by Kyle Clark, of Cushman & Wakefield.

Earlier this year, the building was sold for $1.55 million to the Nichols trust. Clark and Kipp Gstettenbauer, also of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the seller.

The two-story building occupies a 0.65-acre corner parcel at Anza Street, and has an elevator and gated parking. The property was sold in June 2001 for $1.37 million.


Retail: Neighborhood National Bank has renewed its lease on 7,498 square feet of retail space at 1717 Sweetwater Road, National City, 91950, from Sweetwater Plaza East LLC. The renewal was for 60 months at $883,735.

The lessee was represented by Shane Poppen, of Hughes Marino. The lessor was represented by Kipp Gstettenbauer and Kyle Clark of, Cushman & Wakefield.

Other recent tenants in the 50,825-square-foot neighborhood center include:

Virtual Tax Solutions earlier this year with 800 square feet of retail space in the neighborhood center for 36 months at $44,928; Reiyukai America Inc. in mid-2013 with 694 square feet for 12 months at $9,993; and the San Diego County Superintendent of Schools in mid-2012 with 3,200 square feet for 60 months at $228,785.

The shopping center was represented by Gstettenbauer and Clark in all transactions.


Retail: Michael Touma has leased 2,100 square feet of retail space at 9744-9746 Winter Gardens Blvd., Lakeside, 92040, from Mar LLC. The property was leased for 61 months at $238,693.

The lessee was represented by Greg Spounious, of Retail Insite.

The lessor was represented by Kipp Gstettenbauer and Kyle Clark, of Cushman & Wakefield.


Office: Triangle Planning, Architecture and Development has leased 880 square feet of office space at 2924 Emerson St., San Diego 92106, from Danube Properties One, LP. The property was leased for 36 months at $46,536.

The lessee represented itself. The lessor was represented by Kyle Clark, of Cushman & Wakefield.
