Insurer leases in Allied Plaza

Office: Alvarado Pacific Insurance has leased 7,169 square feet of office space in the 125,000-square-foot Allied Plaza at 7777 Alvarado Road, La Mesa 91941, from Allied Office Plaza-SPE LLC. The property was leased for 62 months at $891,252.

The lessee was represented by Glenn Friedrich, of Cresa San Diego. The lessor was represented by Kipp Gstettenbauer and Kyle Clark, of Cushman & Wakefield.

Alvarado Pacific in mid-2009 signed a lease for 4,239 square feet for 63 months at $501,283.

Other tenants in the seven-story building, La Mesa's tallest, are Financial Security Solutions Corp. with 825 square feet earlier this year, for 36 months at $57,176; Ticor Title Company of California in mid-2013, with 1,159 square feet for 36 months at $59,340; Brian D. Hoyt in fall 2011, with 671 square feet for 40 months at $48,922, for a CPA office; and William H. Green in summer 2011, with 1,180 square feet for 60 months at $123,359 for an accounting office.

On-site amenities at Allied Plaza include management, deli, coffee shop, full-service bank with ATM, two conference rooms, picnic area, building engineer and security.


Retail: Saloncentric Inc. has leased 3,123 square feet of retail space in the 50,825-square-foot Sweetwater Plaza East at 1747 Sweetwater Road, National City 91950, from Sweetwater Plaza East LLC. The property was leased for 60 months at $281,679.

The lessee was represented by Matt Shope, of CBRE (NYSE: CBG). The lessor was represented by Kipp Gstettenbauer and Kyle Clark, of Cushman & Wakefield.

Another tenant in the center is Neighborhood National Bank, reported this week with a renewal on 7,498 square feet for 60 months at $883,735.

Other recent tenants in the 50,825-square-foot neighborhood center include:

Virtual Tax Solutions earlier this year with 800 square feet of retail space in the neighborhood center for 36 months at $44,928; Reiyukai America Inc. in mid-2013, with 694 square feet for 12 months at $9,993; and the San Diego County Superintendent of Schools in mid-2012, with 3,200 square feet for 60 months at $228,785.

The shopping center was represented by Gstettenbauer and Clark in all transactions.


Office: Accumen has leased 1,491 square feet of office space in the 48,765–square-foot Doctor's Park medical office building at 340 4th Ave., Chula Vista 91910, from Pacific Doctors Park LP. The property was leased for 60 months at $224,723.

The lessee was represented by Dan McCarthy and Travis Ives, of Cushman & Wakefield. The lessor was represented by Jeremy Dentt, of DG Realty Investments LP.
