Retail building on El Cajon corner sells

The one-story, free-standing, approximately 21,632-square-foot corner retail building at 888 N. Johnson Ave., El Cajon 92020, has been sold for $1.6 million.

The buyer was 888 Johnson El Cajon LLC, 2039 San Elijo Ave., Cardiff by the Sea, 92007. Michael P. Orlando is the manager of the buyer.

The acquisition was financed with a loan of $1.12 million from Western Alliance Bank.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 482-240-26) was TOSCO El Cajon LLC with Elise Sinay Spilker manager.

The building was formerly occupied by a La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store and is across N. Johnson from Westfield Parkway Plaza.

The building was constructed on a 1.19-acre lot in 1973.
