Apartment on Columbia in Middletown sold

The four-unit apartment in Middletown at 2831-2837 Columbia St., San Diego 92103, has been sold for $1,055,000.

The buyers were Daniel C. and Vanessa A. Herbert, 3024 State St., San Diego 92103.

The acquisition was financed with a loan of $791,250 from CMG Mortgage Inc.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 451-662-04) was R & M Capital Group LLC with Ryan Munneke as president.

The two-story, approximately 2,856-square-foot apartment was constructed in 1959 on a 5,000-square-foot lot with views of San Diego Bay and downtown San Diego.

The apartment consists of eight bedrooms and four bathrooms. The units have been renovated within the last 7 years, are heavily insulated and have extra storage.

The property was sold in April 2006 for $1.01 million on financing of $707,000 from America's Wholesale Lender.

It was sold again in November 2011 for $775,000 with financing of $542,000 from Lenox Financial Mortgage.

In November 2012, the property title was transferred to R & M Capital by Munneke, Michael Heyer, Christopher A. Davis and James J. Morrell.
