Eric Northbrook has been appointed managing director of the San Diego office of Voit Real Estate Services.
Northbrook, who will oversee all aspects of the local operations, formerly served as an executive director of brokerage services for Cushman & Wakefield's San Diego office. While there, Northbrook focused on Central San Diego County and the Interstate 15 Corridor, specializing in tenant and corporate representation. He also is an expert in representing institutional owners in the marketing and leasing of quality Class A real estate.
“We really wanted to ensure we found the right fit for our team and Eric will fill a critical role,” said CEO Robert Voit in a statement. “As part of our strategic initiative to further integrate our brokerage and real estate management platforms, the addition of Eric in the role of managing director will support this effort, enabling us to continue to provide tailored solutions to our clients.”
Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Northbrook was with Colliers International for 12 years, where he was a consistent top producer.
“I was drawn to the entrepreneurial environment and I look forward to helping expand Voit’s presence in the San Diego market,” Northbrook said.
Following a devastating accident in 2006, Northbrook founded HeadNorth, a nonprofit organization that enhances the quality of life for individuals and families afflicted with spinal cord injury like himself. The organization is actively involved in spinal cord research and has partnered with the Sanford/Burnham Institute and UC-San Diego to create the HeadNorth Chronic Spinal Cord Research Project.
