Building in Golden Hill on B St. sells

The 3,500-square-foot building in Golden Hill at 2731 B St., San Diego 92102, has been sold for $1.3 million.

The buyer was SDPB Holdings LLC, 10788 Edenoaks St., San Diego 92131. Michael Donovan is the member of SDPB.

The acquisition was financed with a loan of $1.2 million from The Loan Company of San Diego.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 534-311-02, 31 and 32) was Salesdrivers, Helpers and Dairy Employees Local No. 683, affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America. Todd Mendez is the secretary, treasurer of the union.

Associate Vice President Marc Frederick of Colliers International represented the seller and the buyer.

The new ownership plans to redevelop the 22,000-square-foot lot as a residential property.

The union has occupied the property for more than 70 years.

The local will be moving within the next twelve months to a 19,000-square-foot office building at 1333 E. Madison Ave., El Cajon, it bought for $1.9 million.
