Thunder Seo on Friars in MV

Office: Thunder Seo has leased 5,800 square feet of office space in the 23,000-square-foot office building at 6863 Friars Road, San Diego 92108, from Destiny Real Estate LLC. The property was leased for 64 months at $581,410.

The lessee was represented by Jill Morton of Capital Growth Properties Inc. The lessor was represented by Kipp Gstettenbauer and Ryan King, of Cushman & Wakefield.

The two-story office building is across the road from the Fashion Valley Mall, and was sold for $2.8 million in mid-2011.

The buyer, Destiny, is owned by Marwaha Group, a multi-unit franchisee and development agent with Subway, whose members are Ravinder Marwaha, Raghu Marwaha and Rohit Marwaha.

At the time of the 2011 acquisition, the ownership said it intended to remodel the building and move its San Diego Subway Development offices to the second floor and lease the ground floor. The building has 65 parking spaces in two subterranean levels.

The building was constructed in 1980 by Income Property Group for the advertising firm Phillips-Ramsey.


Warehouse: D&J Golf Products Inc. has leased the 14,207-square-foot warehouse building at 110 Bosstick Blvd., San Marcos, 92069, from Dhawan Properties LP. The property was leased for 36 months at $278,200.

The lessee was represented by Kent Moore, of Cassidy Turley. The lessor was represented by Ron King and Bob Willingham, of Cushman & Wakefield.

The one-story building was constructed in 1990 on a 0.85-acre lot.

In mid-2003, Coral Biotechnology leased the property for 62 months at $576,379, for general sales and distribution for a biotech company.


Retail: Bash Events Boutique LLC has leased 2,200 square feet of retail space in City Heights at 3821 32nd St., San Diego, 92104, from Francisco Sebastian.

The property, leased for 36 months at $135,100, will be used for a special events center.

The lessee was represented by Martin F. Alfaro, of Pacific Coast Commercial. The lessor was represented by Homefinders Realty.

The one-story, 4,512-square-foot building at 3821-3825 32nd St. was built in 1974.


Office: Rosend Aguayo has leased 1,320 square feet of office space at 795 Arnele Ave., El Cajon, 92020, from The Candy Factory Ltd. The property was leased for 65 months at $115,414.

The lessee was represented by AE Commercial Real Estate. The lessor was represented by Kipp Gstettenbauer, of Cushman & Wakefield.


Office: GMH Associates Inc. has leased 1,377 square feet of office space at 4190 Bonita Road, Bonita, 91902, from Nancy Baranyi Trust. The property was leased for 41 months at $72,039.

The lessee was represented by Derek Applbaum, of Colliers International. The lessor was represented by Kipp Gstettenbauer, of Cushman & Wakefield.
