Office: Netgear has leased 52,789 square feet of office space at 2200 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad 92008, from Regent Properties Studio 2200. The property, leased for 10 years at $10.9 million, will be used for a global networking company that delivers innovative IT products to consumers, businesses and service providers.
The lessee was represented by Mike Coursen, of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank. The lessor was represented by Aric Starck, of Cassidy Turley Carlsbad.
Earlier this month, Regent announced that Rockstar Games renewed its lease on 52,726 square feet of office space at 2200 Faraday for eight years at $12.6 million.
The space is used for the company that creates and produces such computer games as the "Grand Theft Auto" series and "Max Payne."
In October 2013, the 229,753-square-foot Faraday Corporate Center office building at 2200 Faraday was sold to an entity of Regent for $40.4 million.
Earlier this month, another Regent entity acquired the adjacent 119,561-square-foot Research Center Pointe industrial building at 2210 Faraday for $16.35 million. Both Faraday buildings, 2200 and 2210, are now under a new $41,447,500 loan from General Electric Capital Corp.
Office: Mindcentric Inc. has leased 1,845 square feet of office space at 2710 Loker Avenue West, Suite 180, Carlsbad 92010, from Franz-Atrium II LP. The property was leased for 24 months at $77,490.
The lessee was represented by Cassidy Turley. The lessor was represented by Jon Walters, of Colliers International.
Other tenants in the building are Galot Inc., with 832 square feet in mid-2012 for 62 months at $82,863, for general offices; Creative Communication, with 3,466 square feet in early 2010 for 85 months at $564,378; and Zarcaro & Associates with 911 square feet in mid-2009 for five years at $107,373.
Atrium II is a 32,196-square-foot office building constructed in 2002 on a 1.77-acre lot.
Industrial: Beach Baskets has leased 1,600 square feet of industrial space in Copperwood Center at 110 Copperwood Way, Suite B, Oceanside 92054, from Copperwood Partners LP. The property was leased for 24 months at $28,848.
The lessee represented itself. The lessor was represented by Josh McFadyen and Joe Crotty, of Colliers International.
Other tenants at 110 in the eight-building, 131,600-square-foot Copperwood Center at 101-105 and 102-110 Copperwood Way, are Gigante Image with 1,900 square feet in early 2011 for 36 months at $49,821 (In early 2014, Gigante leased 3,335 square feet at 106 for 36 months at $75,600); S.R. Clarke Landscape Architecture and Development, with 1,900 square feet in early 2014 for 36 months at $49,327; DeAnda Design Ent., with 1,600 square feet in late 2012 for 24 months at $28,068; and Mad Media LLC with 1,900 square feet in mid-2013 for 24 months at $30,780.
