Retail center on Via Bettona in Santaluz sold

The approximately 16,000-square-foot Piazza Santaluz neighborhood retail center at 14677-14701 Via Bettona, San Diego 92127, has been sold for $6,375,000.

The buyer was Piazza Santaluz LLC, a California limited liability company, c/o Cushman & Wakefield, 4747 Executive Drive, Suite 900, San Diego 92121. Anthony L. Elshout is the manager of Piazza Santaluz, 330 Ignacio Blvd., Suite 101, Novato, CA.

The acquisition was financed with a loan of $3 million from MUFG Union Bank.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcels 303-192-37 and 303-191-44) was Symphony Asset Pool XVIII LLC, with Dario De Luca as the president and Pino Vitti as the chief financial officer.

The retail center was constructed in 2005 on two equal lots totaling 1.29 acres. The center is split by Via Verrazzano at Camino Ruiz.

In July 2013, Symphony Asset Pool acquired the property from MLMT 2005-LC1 Via Bettona Limited Partnership for $4.2 million, cash. MLMT was headed by LNR Partners California Manager LLC, a commercial mortgage special servicer.
