99Cents in Escondido center

Retail: 99Cents Only Stores has leased 17,170 square feet of retail space in the 170,624-square-foot community shopping center Civic Center Plaza, 385 N. Escondido Blvd., Escondido, 92025, from M.C. Strauss Co.

The property was leased for 124 months at $2.9 million.

The lessee was represented by Kevin Cassidy, of Cassidy Turley. The lessor was represented by Bradley Jones, of CBRE (NYSE: CBG).

The center at 311-445 N. Escondido Blvd., is anchored by Old Navy, Ross, Smart & Final, PetSmart and Regal Cinemas.


Retail: Neapolitan Pizza has leased 2,714 square feet of retail space at South Block Lofts, 395 Sixth Ave., San Diego, 92101, from JP Morgan Investment Management Inc. The property was leased for 10 years at $1.4 million.

The lessee was represented by Danny Fitzgerald and Pasquale Ioele, of Cassidy Turley. The lessor was represented by Michael Burton, also of Cassidy Turley.


Retail: PrAna Living has leased 2,400 square feet of retail space at 625 S. Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, 92024, from Valentine LP c/o Enrico Pinamonti Property Management Corp. The property was leased for 10 years at $1,007,000.

The lessee was represented by Matthew Lux of CBRE. The lessor was represented by Andrew Peterson and John Orlando, of Cassidy Turley.

The 6,000-square-foot strip center was built in downtown Encinitas in 1959.


Retail: Perfect Pairing has leased 2,086 square feet of retail space at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, Suite 118 and 120, Carlsbad, 92008, from SIMA Management Corp. The property was leased for 10 years at $717,409.

The lessee was represented by Richard Porreco, of Cresa San Diego.

The lessor was represented by Bruce Schiff, Phil Lyons and Chad Iafrate, of Cassidy Turley.

The 87,419-square-foot neighborhood center was constructed in 1089 on 1.75 acres.
