The lessee in the Deal of the Week was represented by Scott Duhs and Travis Carter, of Duhs Commercial.
The lessor was represented by Aric Starck, of Cassidy Turley Carlsbad.
The deal was a lease renewal by Catalina Restaurant Group on 21,782 square feet of office space in the 229,753-square-foot Faraday Corporate Center at 2200 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad, from Regent Properties Studio 2200. The renewal was for nine years at $4.7 million. The space is for corporate headquarters and a test kitchen.
In October 2013, office building at 2200 Faraday was sold to an entity of Regent for $40.4 million.
Earlier this year, another Regent entity acquired the adjacent 119,561-square-foot Research Center Pointe industrial building at 2210 Faraday for $16.35 million.
Both Faraday buildings, 2200 and 2210, are now under a new $41,447,500 loan from General Electric Capital Corp.
