The buyer represented itself. The deal was the sale of a seven-building portfolio of office buildings in San Diego County for $113 million.
The properties were acquired in three transactions by Brookwood CBI LLC and Brookwood CB II LLC, entities of Beverly, Mass.-based Brookwood Financial Partners LLC.
The seller was Carlsbad-based developer Newport National Corp.
The portfolio totals 484,573 square feet of multi-tenant space and includes 95,446-square-foot Civic View Corporate Center in San Marcos, and two Carlsbad properties; the 219,162-square-foot Ventana Real on Salk Avenue and 219,162-square-foot The Campus on La Place Court (photo). The San Marcos transaction included a ground lease from the city of San Marcos.
