Jersey Mike's in Pacific Beach

Retail: Kenny Brothers, dba Jersey Mike's Subs, has leased 1,772 square feet of retail space at 1975 Garnet Ave., Suite A, San Diego 92109, from Rentschler Trust.

The property was leased for 10 years at $696,396.

The lessee was represented by Michael Burton, Danny Fitzgerald and Pasquale Loele, of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial. The lessor was represented by Reg Kobzi, of CBRE (NYSE: CBG).

Jersey Mike's has opened a number of franchise outlets in San Diego County.

In early 2009, the sandwich chain leased 1,755 square feet at 8590 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego, for 10 years at $787,644; 1,373 square feet in mid-year in Mesa Marketplace at 10764 Westview Parkway, San Diego, for 120 months at $744,718; and 1,280 square feet in the fall at 3570 Sports Arena Blvd., San Diego, for 10 years at $514,211.

In early 2010, Jersey Mike's leased 1,354 square feet at 595 Grand Ave. in San Marcos for 10 years at $605,361; and 2,210 square feet in late 2010 at 7420 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. in San Diego for 10 years at $615,644.

This year, activity included 1,000 square feet at 1070 North El Camino Real in Encinitas for 10 years at $354,750; 1,437 square feet in High Country Plaza at 10805 Bernardo Center Drive, San Diego, for 10 years at $366,435; 1,200 square feet at 1831 South Centre City Parkway, Escondido, for 10 years at $412,699; and 1,326 square feet at 7836 Herschel Ave. in La Jolla for 119 months at $393,643.

Jersey Mike's was founded in 1956 and had approximately 350 shops nationwide prior to the San Diego expansion.


Industrial: DeNova Bicycles Inc. has leased 4,079 square feet of industrial space at 1844 Ord Way, Suite 2-L, Oceanside 92056, from PCCP bkm Oceanside II, LLC. The property was leased for 36 months at $77,647.

The lessee represented itself. The lessor was represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.


Industrial: Groceries Land, LLC has leased 2,697 square feet of industrial space at 6955 Camino Maquiladora, Suite H, San Diego 92154, from HES Partners LP. The property was leased for 24 months at $35,922.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Charles Adolphe and Bryan Teel, of Grubb & Ellis (NYSE: GBE).


Industrial: Hydroflex Surfboards has leased 1,216 square feet of industrial space at 389 Via El Centro, Oceanside, 92054, from MAJ Investors.

The property, leased for 36 months at $32,925, will be used for an office and warehouse for a surfboard manufacturer.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.
