Kelco renews Kearny Mesa lease on Aero

R&D: CP Kelco, dba CP Kelco US Inc., has renewed its leasehold on 27,605 square feet of research and development space in Kearny Mesa at 8225 Aero Drive, San Diego 92123, from Westcore Properties.

The leasehold, renewed for five years at $2.2 million, will be used for manufacturing, customer service sales and technical support.

The lessee represented itself. The lessor represented itself.

CP Kelco, headquartered in Atlanta, is a manufacturer of a broad spectrum of texturizing and stabilizing ingredients to food processors.

“While the company has facilities all over the world, the Aero Drive building is their only location in the western United States," said Hack Adams, senior vice president of leasing with Westcore.


Industrial: Phantom Research Laboratories Inc. has renewed its leasehold and expanded into 19,884 square feet of industrial space at 1957 Friendship Drive, El Cajon 92020, from RBCp-R.E.LP. The renewal and expansion are for 60 months at $715,824, and will be used for optical lens tinting research, development and manufacturing.

The lessee was represented by Mick Toller, of Inland Pacific Commercial Properties. The lessor represented itself.


Industrial: Blue World Industries Inc. has leased 4,160 square feet of industrial space at 3210 Production Ave., Suite B, Oceanside 92054, from MAJ Investors. The property, leased for 24 months at $54,912, will be used for a woodworking shop.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.


Office: Pacific Coast Home Mortgage and Real Estate Inc. has leased 560 square feet of office space at 2424 Vista Way, Suite 105, Oceanside, 92054, from the Jaeger Family Trust. The property was leased for 36 months at $33,378.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Jon Walters, of Colliers International.


Industrial: Arthur Steven Delacruz has leased 1,200 square feet of industrial space at 318 Via Del Norte, Oceanside 92058, from MAJ Investors. The property, leased for 24 months at $22,320, will be used for a suspension repair shop.

The lessee or lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.


Industrial: Brad Oslund has leased 1,200 square feet of industrial space at 304 Via Del Monte, Suite C, Oceanside 92058, from Ganatol Land Company.

The property, leased for 24 months at $17,712, will be used for motorcycle repair service.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.
