Wireless Capital on Genesee

Office: Wireless Capital Partners LLC has leased 5,265 square feet of office space at Genesee Plaza, 9333 Genesee Ave., San Diego 92121, from Genesee Executive Plaza LLC.

The property was leased for 40 months at $470,000.

The lessee was represented by David Viani, of CBRE (NYSE: CBG).

The lessor was represented by Chris High, Matt Carlson and Travis Ives, of Cushman & Wakefield.

Genesee Executive Plaza is a pair of three-story office buildings totaling 160,000 square feet at 9333-9339 Genesee for medical and non-medical tenants. The two buildings occupy 3.63 acres and are separated by a landscaped courtyard. The buildings have secured, underground garage parking.

In summer 1998 the property was sold for $20,692,000. At the end of June 1995, the green-glass complex was sold for $9.29 million as part of a larger portfolio transaction.

In early 2008, SCIREX-CT LLC, dba Premier Research Group, signed a 10-year, $4.75 million lease for 10,798 square feet. The lessor at that time was Arden Realty Inc.

The former 1st Pacific Bank of California was a tenant with 18,400 square feet in early 2007 for 120 months at $7.43 million. The bank failed in May 2007 and was taken over by Los Angeles-based City National Bank.


Retail: SD Clothing Exchange has leased 2,853 square feet of retail space at 721 Arnele Ave., El Cajon 92020, from The Candy Factory Ltd. The property was leased for 36 months at $118,684.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Kyle Clark and Kipp Gstettenbauer, of Cushman & Wakefield.


Office: Yashwant Chaudhri, MD, APC has leased 1,405 square feet of office space at 8770 Cuyamaca St., Santee 92071, from Landau Exemption Equivalent Trust Inc. The property was leased for 36 months at $53,243.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Kyle Clark and Kipp Gstettenbauer, of Cushman & Wakefield.


Office: Morning View Associates LLC has leased 1,499 square feet of office space at 3375 Mission Ave., Suite F, Oceanside 92054, from Copperwood Partners LP. The property, leased for 37 months at $24,370, will be used for HOA management offices.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.


Industrial: Timonin Group Inc. has leased 1,693 square feet of industrial space at 4065 Oceanside Blvd., Suite Q, Oceanside 92054, from MAJ Investors. The property, leased for 24 months at $24,372, will be used for distribution/replacement doors and windows.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.


Industrial: Scott's Drilling Service has leased 1,200 square feet of industrial space at 2710 Roymar Road, Suite D, Oceanside 92054, from CBRE-Josepho Properties. The property, leased for 36 months at $22,476, will be used for a drilling contractor.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen of Colliers International.
