NuVasive renews on Towne Centre

Industrial: NuVasive Inc. (Nasdaq: NUVA) has leased 62,367 square feet of industrial space at 4545 Towne Centre Court, San Diego 92121, from Arden Realty Inc. The property was leased for 12 months at $1.6 million.

The lessee was represented by Craig Irving, of The Irving Group. The lessor was represented by Jay Alexander and Tony Russell, of Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL).

In late 2004, NuVasive subleased the space from Gateway Computer for 97 months at $9,271,278.

In early 1998, Gateway announced it would relocate its headquarters from South Dakota to San Diego.

The company moved into the Towne Centre Court facilities in October 1998.

Gateway moved out in early 2002 and into facilities in Poway. In early 2004, Gateway was acquired by eMachines and subsequently moved to Irvine.



Office: Pathfinder Partners LLC has leased 4,149 square feet of office space at 4380 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 250, San Diego 92122, from UTC Properties LLC, c/o The Irvine Company. The property was leased for five years at $563,000.

The lessee was represented by Dave Odmark, of Cassidy Turley San Diego. The lessor represented itself.

The office space is in The Plaza, a 17-acre, 825,000-square-foot office campus at the corner of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue, across from Westfield UTC mall.

The Plaza consists of three office towers and three low-rise office/retail buildings across from Westfield UTC mall.



Retail: Concordia Communities LLC has leased 2,530 square feet of retail space at BeachWalk, 437 S. Pacific Highway 101, Solana Beach 92075, from Muller Company. The property was leased for 63 months at $414,700.

The lessee was represented by Brooks Campbell, of Cassidy Turley San Diego. The lessor was represented by Jay Alexander and Chaneng Joe, of Jones Lang LaSalle.

In late 2011, Woody's Restaurant leased 4,414 square feet in Beachwalk for 10 years at $1.65 million, and in late 2010, Cellular Phones Inc., dba AT&T Wireless, leased 1,328 square feet for 64 months at $224,668.

In early 2007, BeachWalk, a 52,875-square-foot retail center was sold to Muller for $28.05 million.



Office: Pathway Genomics Corp. has leased 4,820 square feet of office space at 4122 Sorrento Valley Blvd., Suite 102, San Diego 92121, from PCPI Sorrento Pines LP, c/o Parallel Capital Partners Inc. The property was leased for 51 months at $332,000.

The lessee was represented by Dave Odmark, of Cassidy Turley San Diego. The lessor was represented by Brian Starck and Bryce Aberg, also of Cassidy Turley.



Industrial: DeAnda Design Ent., has leased 1,600 square feet of industrial space at 110 Copperwood Way, Suite B, Oceanside 92058, from Copperwood Partners LP. The property, leased for 24 months at $28,068, will be used for office and warehouse.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen and Joe Crotty, of Colliers International.



Industrial: Contracting Inc. has leased 1,200 square feet of industrial space at 224 Via Del Monte, Oceanside 92058, from Ganatol Land Company. The property, leased for 24 months at $22,320, will be used for a contractor's shop.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen, of Colliers International.



Industrial: Gail Carlson has leased 1,200 square feet of industrial space at 3365 Mission Ave., Suite I, Oceanside 92054, from Copperwood Partners LP.

The property, leased for 12 months at $13,824, will be used for office/retail for mattress bedding and sales.

The lessee and lessor were represented by Josh McFadyen and Joe Crotty, of Colliers International.
