ColRich Communities announced it has acquired a 45-acre site in the Santa Fe Valley Specific Plan area and plans development of a gated community of 63 estate-style homes. The site is adjacent to two other ColRich sites which ultimately will have a combined total of 150 estate-style homes. Plans are that all three projects will open in the spring or summer of 1999.


McMillin Homes on Saturday will release 10 homes as the fifth phase of its Presidio neighborhood at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego. Prices will range from the mid-$300,000s to the low $400,000s. The 39 home transactions to date bring Presidio to the 50 percent sales mark in the four months since it opened. The 90 homes will offer three two-story floor plans from 2,701 to 3,190 square feet with three to six bedrooms.
Brookfield Homes on Saturday will release eight homes as the fifth phase of its 61-home Bella Lago at Aviara in Carlsbad. Prices will start in the low $600,000s. The one- and two-story floor plans range from 3,011 to 4,814 square feet with four to seven bedrooms.
Pacific Bay Homes on Saturday will hold a grand opening for six decorated models at two Rolling Hills Ranch neighborhoods in Chula Vista; Pepperwood Way and Valencia Point. Twenty-three homes have been sold in the first phases. Pepperwood's three- and four-bedroom floor plans range from 1,299 to 1,817 square feet with prices starting in the upper $170,000s. Valencia Point has four- and five-bedroom floor plans from 2,063 to 2,856 square feet priced from the upper $230,000s.
Shea Homes on Saturday will release three decorated model homes for sale at its Heritage neighborhood in Vista. Prices start in the low $200,000s. Floor plans range from 1,500 to 1,760 for the one- and two-story floor plans with three bedrooms.
Centex Homes on Saturday will open a sales trailer at its Ivey Pointe neighborhood of paired homes in Oceanside. Planned for 68 two-story paired homes, floor plans range from 1,215 to 1,500 square feet with two and three bedrooms. Prices start in the mid-$100,000s.
Brookfield Homes sold all 14 first-phase homes the first weekend they were offered at its 92-home Sundance at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego. Prices ranged from $253,900 to $279,900. The two-story floor plans range from 1,779 to 2,100 square feet with three and four bedrooms.
Brehm Builders is selling a dozen homes as the tenth phase of its Ridgewood neighborhood at EastLake Greens in Chula Vista. Floor plans range from 2,420 to 3,023 square feet with four and five bedrooms. Prices start in the upper $200,000s.
Brookfield Homes has three homes remaining in the second phase of its Waterford at the Lake at Aviara in Carlsbad. Second-phase prices range from $504,600 to $829,600. The one- and two-story floor plans range from 3,255 to 3,981 square feet with four to six bedrooms.
Centex Homes is now selling the second phase of its Brook Hills neighborhood in Fallbrook. Sales opened in July and eight homes have been sold. Eight homes available are priced from the low $500,000s. Six floor plans range from 3,000 to 6,300 square feet with three to seven bedrooms.
Brookfield Homes has six homes available at its Americana at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego. The homes are priced from $330,900. Three two-story floor plans range from 2,502 to 3,330 square feet with four to six bedrooms.
Barratt American has begun preview sales at its 22-home Pacific Crest development in Leucadia. Prices range from $1,094,000 to $1.12 million. Nine starting-point floor plans range from 3,642 to 5,012 square feet on one and two levels with three to six bedrooms. Other high-end developments by Barratt American are: Knightsbridge in Olivenhain, priced at about $1 million with 22 of 60 homes sold; Windsor Country Estates II in Olivenhain, priced from the mid-$700,000s, with eight of nine home sold; and newly opened Venezia Del Mar with 42 homes prices from the low $600,000s
Reynolds Communities has one home remaining for sale at The Masters Collection at Steele Canyon in east San Diego County. The price is $395,000. The 41-home enclave offered two-story homes with 3,195 square feet and four bedrooms. Reynolds also has two units remaining at Remington Condominiums in Rancho San Diego. The two-bedroom units are priced at $121,900.
McMillin Homes on Saturday will hold a grand opening for its Riviera neighborhood in the Temeku Hills Golf and Country Club in Temecula. The 10 homes will be priced from the mid-$170,000s to the low $200,000s. The 118 homes will offer four one- and two-story floor plans from 1,836 to 2,583 square feet with three to four bedrooms.
Ryland Homes has sold 18 of a planned 81 homes at its Malaguena neighborhood at California Oaks in Murrieta. Floor plans range from 1,783 to 2,646 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices range from $157,990 to $209,140.
Barratt American announced architect Phil Pekarek of Pekarek-Crandell Inc. will design its 123-home The Vintate Collection for Barratt in Rancho Cucamonga.
