The Corky McMillin Cos. has assembled a team of guest builders for to build the first six developments at its 300-acre, 1,474-home, master-planned Lomas Verdes at Otay Ranch development in Chula Vista. McMillin's fist project called Alcala will have 120 homes with floor plans range from 2,400 to 3,200 square feet. The prices range from the high $200,000s. McMillin's Veranda project will have 87 homes range from 2,000 to 2,450 square feet priced from the low $200,000s. Shea Homes' Cimarron project will have 86 paired homes ranging from 1,500 to 1,900 square feet with prices expected to start in the high $100,000s. Cornerstone Communities plans 117 courtyard townhomes that will range from 1,000 to 1,700 square feet. Prices are expected to range from the mid-$100,000s. Chelsea/KBMF plans to build 440 luxury apartments with one- two- and three-bedroom floor plans in a park-like setting that also will have an affordable housing component. The sixth project of 138 homes surrounding a one-acre park is still in the planning stages.


Brookfield Homes on Saturday will release 15 homes in the second phase at its Sundance at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego. Prices for the two-story floor plans from 1,7790 to 2,100 square feet range start in the mid-$200,000s.
Brehm Homes is planning a grand opening Sunday at its Serenata development in Aviara in Carlsbad. Nine homes will be released in the initial phase. The floor plans range from 2,690 to 4,190 square feet and priced from the low $500,000s.
Brookfield Homes on Saturday will open the models of its Waterford at the Lake in Scripps Ranch Villages. One- and two-story floor plans in the second phase range from 3,255 to 3,981 square feet and are priced from $504,600 to $829,600.
Shea Homes plans to release eight residences on Sunday at its Rolling Hills Estates development at Pomerado Road and Scripps Poway Parkway overlooking Poway and Scripps Ranch. The 3,000 to 4,100-square-foot four- and five-bedroom floor plans are priced from the low $500,000s.
Tech-Bilt has released 12 homes for sale at its Bernardo Santa Fe development in Lomas del Lago Estates in Rancho Bernardo. The three- to five-bedroom floor plans range from 2,205 to 2,801 square feet and are priced from $352,000 to $374,000.
Barratt American has released the model homes at its Park Lane development at Ivey Ranch in Oceanside. The two- to four-bedroom floor plans range from 1,481 to 1,921 square feet and are priced from $209,047 to $232,879.
McMillin Homes plans to release four model homes at its Lafayette development in Murrieta. The three- to seven-bedroom floor plans range from 1,966 to 2,792 square feet and are priced from the high $100,000s to the low $200,000s.
Ryland Homes has released nine homes in the fourth phase of its Malaguena development in California Oaks in Murrieta. The three- to five-bedroom floor plans range from 1,783 to 2,646 square feet and are priced from $157,990 to $206,140.
McMillin Cos. has released five homes in the second phase of its Riviera at Temeku Hills and Country Club in Temecula. The three- and four-bedroom floor plans range from 1,836 to 2,583 square feet and are priced from $181,490 to $229,990.
