Morrow Development reports that the first five projects in La Costa Valley are 60 percent sold-out six months after the grand opening. A total of 266 homes have been sold since April for a volume of $102 million. The homes are selling at an average rate of 10 per week.


Westfield by Kaufman & Broad is 72 homes ranging from 1,863 to 2,263 square feet with up to five bedrooms. Prices start in the low $300,000s.

Parkridge by Kaufman & Broad has up to six bedroom floor plans with 1,963 to 2,672 square feet that are priced from the mid-$300,000s.

Shea Homes' Monterey Collection has homes ranging from 2,190 to 3,080 square feet that are priced from the mid-$300,000s.

Greystone Homes San Diego's Greystone at La Costa has residences with as much as 2,800 square feet in five-bedroom floor plans priced from the high $300,000s.

Standard Pacific's San Alicia development has as many of five-bedroom floor plans. Ranging from 2,490 to 3,325 square feet, the homes are priced from the low $400,000s.


The Corky McMillin Cos. and Brookfield Homes have announced plans for the first three neighborhoods in their master-planned 589-acre Calavera Hills development in Carlsbad.

McMillin's 87-home Capistrano development will have four- and five-bedroom floor plans ranging from 2,694 to 3,168 square feet. Prices range from the mid-$300,000s.

McMillin's 149-home Nantucket project will have three- to five-bedroom floor plans ranging from 2,000 to 2,900 square feet. The prices range from the high $200,000s.

Brookfield's 149-home Barrington development will have three- and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,925 to 2,275 square feet. Prices will start in the high $200,000s.


Centex Homes reports the first phase of 18 homes will be released for sale on Saturday at its Silverado development at Otay Ranch. The model homes are nearing completion .

The 75-home development will offer a trio of three- to five-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,513 to 1,798 square feet, priced from the high $100,000s.


Lucas & Mercier Development reports its 22-home Stratford Place development at Shadowridge in Vista is 50 percent sold out. The three- and four-bedroom floor plans range from 1,868 to 2,475 square feet and are priced from the $230,000s.


Centex Homes reports the first phase of homes will be released Saturday at its Ivey Pointe development of 68 two-story paired homes in Oceanside. The homes offer two floor plans from 1,215 to 1,500 square feet with two and three bedrooms. Prices start in the mid-$100,000s.


Greystone Homes San Diego reports a single furnished model remains at its Ridgepointe neighborhood in Rancho Penasquitos, and one production home remains at the neighboring Ridgeview.

The four-bedroom floor plan at the model home has 2,451 square feet and is priced at $360,000. The production home has about 3,145 square feet with four bedrooms and is priced at $434,135.


Innovative Communities reports six of 27 homes remain for sale at its Treasures at Castle Creek development north of Escondido.

Treasures offers five one- and two-story floor plans from 1,315 to 2,308 square feet with three- to five-bedrooms priced from the mid-$170,000s.


Brookfield Homes reports all 15 homes released October 24 in second phase of its 92-home Sundance neighborhood at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego have been sold at prices from $275,900 to $285,900. The two-story floor plans range from 1,779 to 2,100 square feet and offer three to four bedrooms.


Barratt American reports seven homes have been released for sale priced from $218,490 to $255,490 in the second phase of its Quartz Hill development in Lancaster. The eventual 80-home development has a trio of two-story floor plans ranging from 2,498 to 3,365 square feet with three to six bedrooms.
