Brookfield Homes reports its 92-home Americana at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego has been sold out. The neighborhood opened in November 1997. Americana offered two-story floor plans from 2,502 to 3,039 square feet with four to six bedrooms.
Other Brookfield projects in Scripps Ranch Villages are Waterford at the Lake and Sundance. Waterford has 55 homes priced from the low $500,000s to the low $800,000s for one- and two-story, 3,255- to 4,000-square-foot floor plans with four to six bedrooms. Four homes are currently available in the third phase from $501,250 to $635,500.
At Sundance, 92 homes priced from the mid to high $200,000s are planned. The two-story homes' floor plans range from 1,779 to 2,100 square feet with three and four bedrooms.
Brookfield will begin construction early in 1999 on Terraza Heights, its fifth Scripps Ranch Villages neighborhood. The 118 homes will have floor plans of 2,768 to 3,723 square feet with four and five bedrooms and prices starting in the high $300,000s.
Terrabrook, developer of master-planned Torrey Hills east of Del Mar, reports that over the past six months, sales at most of the four new neighborhoods by two developers have reached the halfway point.
Presley Homes has sold five of the first 13 houses at The Cove, which opened in October. The planned 108 two-story homes will offer floor plans from 2,164 to 2,450 square feet with three to five bedrooms, currently priced from $350,900 to $393,900.
Presley opened The Sands in April and has sold 48 of the planned 107 homes. The two-story floor plans range from 1,883 to 2,229 square feet with three and four bedrooms priced from $335,900 to $383,900.
Presley also opened The Shores in April with 59 homes planned. Thirty-nine have been sold. Floor plans range from 2,450 to 2,768 square feet with four and five bedrooms priced from $423,900 to $546,900.
Shea Homes is building 81 homes at its Torrey Point and has sold more than 40 since its opening less than six months ago. The two-story floor plans offer 2,753 to 3,164 square feet with four and five bedrooms priced from $472,900 to $632,000.
Davidson Communities on Saturday will release eight homes as part of the second phase of its Amador neighborhood in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego. The prices start from $629,900. The two-story floor plans for the planned 62 homes range from 3,760 to 4,471 square feet with four to seven bedrooms.
McMillin Homes on Saturday will release the final phase of its Mallorca neighborhood at Rancho del Rey in Chula Vista. The three two-story floor plans in the eighth phase of the 132-home project range from 1,625 to 2,066 square feet and are priced from $202,990 to $240,990.
Shea Homes on Sunday will release the 14-home second phase of its Sandalwood neighborhood in Encinitas. The project's 86 homes range from 2,830 to 4,200 square feet with four and five bedrooms. Prices start in the mid-$400,000s.
McMillin Homes reports more than 1,200 visitors attended the opening if its Crown Collection neighborhood at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego. Eight of the nine first-phase homes were also sold on the first morning, and the ninth was sold soon after. The second phase will be released soon. The 110 homes offer four one- and two-story floor plans from 2,507 to 3,557 square feet with four and five bedrooms.
Presley Homes reports seven of the eight homes released as part of the first phase of Stratford Place were sold on Nov. 28, and that the remaining eight homes of the first phase were released last Saturday. At StoneCrest Village in San Diego, the 110 homes offer four two-story floor plans from 1,310 to 1,675 square feet with three to four bedrooms. Prices for the latest phase range from $202,900 to $236,900.
ColRich Communities announced it has broken ground on two new communities in the Santa Fe Valley in north San Diego County: Bel Etage and Savenna.
Bel Etage offers four one- and two-story floor plans from 3,841 to 4,739 square feet with up to five bedrooms. Savenna offers one and two-story homes from 4,780 to 5,362 square feet with up to six bedrooms. Anticipated prices will start in the high $600,000s.
Ryland Southern California reports a 19-home-a-month sales pace throughout 1998 at The Colony, a golf course retirement community for adults 55 and older in Murrieta. Through November, 211 homes have been sold from three neighborhoods.
One neighborhood, The Veranda, has sold out.
A second, The Courtyards, is nearing sellout with prices from $179,990 to $182,990. Courtyards floor plans range from 1,495 to 1,764 square feet with two or three bedrooms.
At The Estates, prices range from $190,990 to $241,990. Estates floor plans range from 1,854 to 2,086 square feet with two or three bedrooms.
Barratt American reports eight of the planned 80 homes of its new Monterey Collection at Quartz Hill in Lancaster have been sold, and that second phase homes are being offered. Prices range from $218,490 to $255,490 for two-story floor plans from 2,498 to 3,365 square feet with three to six bedrooms.
