McMillin Homes reports that in just a little over a month since the grand opening of its master-planned McMillin Lomas Verdes in Otay Ranch, 66 homes have been sold in four neighborhoods, including 26 on opening day.

The top seller was McMillin's 87-home Veranda with 21 sales, followed by 120-home Alcala (also by McMillin), with 18 transactions. Cornerstone Communities has 17 sales at its 117-home courtyard townhome Capri, and Shea Homes San Diego had 10 sales at its 86-unit paired home Diego.

The 300-acre first-phase of McMillin Lomas Verdes with an eventual 1,500 homes is being developed by McMillin Land Development, a Corky McMillin Co.

Later this year, Cornerstone Communities will open its 138-home Montecito neighborhood of detached homes, and Chelsea Investment Corp., in conjunction with Kaufman and Broad Multi-Housing Group, will begin its mixed-use Teresina with 440 apartments.


Shea Homes San Diego on Sunday will release the sixth and final phase of its 86-home Sandalwood development in Encinitas. Sandalwood's one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,830 to 4,200 square feet with four and five bedrooms. Prices start from $499,000.


Brookfield Homes reports the sale of seven of the nine homes released last Saturday as the second phase of its 118-home Terraza at Scripps Ranch Villages in San Diego. Prices range from $405,900 to $519,900. The two-story floor plans range from 2,809 to 3,645 square feet with four and five bedrooms.


Shea Homes San Diego on Sunday will release the 23-home first phase of the 42-home second edition of its Monterey Collection neighborhood at master-planned La Costa Valley in Carlsbad. Prices will start in the high $300,000s. Four one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,190 to 3,080 square feet with four and five bedrooms. The first edition totaled 94 homes.


Innovative Resort Communities reports five homes remain at its Treasures development north of Escondido on the Castle Creek Golf Course. Treasures offered five one- and two-story floor plans from 1,315 to 2,308 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices begin in the low $200,000s.


Shea Homes San Diego announced it will built 40 homes at Devonshire, a new neighborhood within Encinitas Ranch in Encinitas. The homes will range from 1,633 to 2,593 square feet with two and three bedrooms. Prices will start in the mid-$300,000s.


Barratt American reports 22 sales at its 142-home Rembrandt development in Temecula one month after the grand opening. The homebuilder has released the six-home fifth phase priced from $166,990 to $198,990. Floor plans range from 1,715 to 2,529 square feet with three and four bedrooms.
