Regis Homes of Irvine has acquired a 10-acre parcel along the north shore of Agua Hedionda Lagoon in Carlsbad for the development of a 130-unit condominium called Ocean Pointe. Completion of the first units is scheduled for April 2000.

Unit floor plans range from 1,450 to 1,750 square feet. Prices for the two- and three-bedroom condos are expected to start in the mid- to upper $200,000s. The one-, two- and three-story development will be built over subterranean parking accessed by 13 elevators.


Barratt American reports six homes remain at its Pacific Crest development in Leucadia, south of Batiquitos Lagoon. Pacific Crest's 22 homes are priced from $969,000 to $1.4 million. Floor plans from 3,474 to 5,012 square feet offered three to six bedrooms.


Centex Homes has acquired 95 lots and four fully landscaped and decorated models from Greystone Homes in the Rancho Bernardo neighborhood of Bernardo Springs. The company will develop the single-family neighborhood Patina at Bernardo Springs. Construction is under way on the first phase of 19 homes, which will be available Sept. 11. The one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,716 to 3,634 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices start in the upper $400,000s.


TopMark Communities has launched sales on the third and final phase of 12 homes at its 34-home StoneRidge Estates in Alpine. The last phase is priced from $400,000 to $515,000. Five floor plans range from 3,028 to 3,727 square feet with three and four bedrooms.


Brookfield Homes has sold 15 of 25 homes released at its Barrington at Calavera Hills in Carlsbad. Homes in the second phase are selling from the low $300,000s. Two-story floor plans range from 1,957 to 2,287 square feet with three and four bedrooms.


Cornerstone Communities reports 20 sales have been logged at its 117-unit Capri at Lomas Verdes condominium. The second phase has sold out and sales are under way on the third increment. Three floor plans range from 1,030 to 1,670 square feet with two and three bedrooms. Prices start in the mid-$100,000s.


Shea Homes reports the sales level has reached 80 percent at its Daybreak at Sunbow in Chula Vista. Ninety of a planned 112 homes have been sold. Floor plans range from 1,587 to 2,373 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices range from $215,900 to $261,900.


Ryland Homes has launched an extra-large 21-home phase nine priced from $234,990 to $271,650 at its Meadows development in Ramona. Eighty-two of a planned 123 homes have been sold in less than eight months on the market. Three single-level floor plans range from 2,011 to 2,455 square feet with three and four bedrooms.


Barratt American has released 10 homes as phases three and four priced from $484,990 to $569,990 at its Victoria Ranch in San Marcos. Sales at the ranch home development have passed the one-third level with 16 of the planned 46 sold.


Kaufman & Broad Multi Housing Group has selected Catalina Design Group to design and merchandise model apartment interiors at its Teresina neighborhood in master-planned McMillin Lomas Verdes in Chula Vista. The 440-unit apartment complex is being co-developed by Chelsea Investment Corp. and Kaufman & Board Multi Housing Group. The units will range from 473 to 1,161 square feet in one- to three-bedroom floor plans.


Ryland Homes has 13 homes remaining for sale at its 81-home Malaguena neighborhood in Murrieta, all available for immediate occupancy. Malaguena's floor plans ranged from 1,783 to 2,646 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices ranged from $178,990 to $212,140.
