Keystone Communities will hold an open house Sunday for its 7 on Third detached single-family home development on Third Avenue between Spruce and Redwood, north of downtown San Diego. Each of the two-story floor plans totals approximately 1,800 square feet with three bedrooms. Prices will start in the mid-$400,000s.


Brookfield Homes on Saturday will release the eight-home sixth phase of its Terraza at Scripps Ranch Villages. Prices are expected to start in the $400,000s. The two-story floor plans at the planned 118-home Terraza range from 2,809 to 3,654 square feet with four to five bedrooms.


Presley Homes in ten months reports it has sold almost 75 percent of the 77 homes planned at its Knollwood community at Castle Creek. Prices range from $207,900 to $264,900. The two-story floor plans range from 1,902 to 2,237 square feet.


Barratt American announced it will build the 46-home Triple Crown at Seabreeze Farms in Carmel Valley. The two-level floor plans will range from 3,648 to 4,307 square feet with four to six bedrooms. Introductory pricing will range from the $600,000s.


Ryland Homes reports that 40 of the planned 137 homes of the Monterey Collection at Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos have been sold. The three one- and two-story floor plans range from1,973 to 2,546 square feet with three to six bedrooms. Prices range from $269,990 to $317,990.


Brehm Companies of San Diego announced it paid approximately $20 million for 128 acres in Temecula and will develop the Vintage Reserve residential community there. The 457-home, four neighborhood community is slated to open in the spring of 2000.


Ryland Homes reports six homes were sold during the preview sales period at Hometown in Rancho Cucamonga. The first phase prices range from $284,990 to $329,990. Four one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,566 to 4,027 square feet with three and four bedrooms.


Heartland/MSK Realty Ventures, LLC, will begin a 665-acre development in Hemet for 1,775 homes. Groundbreaking for the adult community will be in early 2000. The developer is a company composed of Heartland Homes LLC of Seattle and MSK Development Group of Carlsbad. The attached and detached homes will range from 1,350 to 2,600 square feet with prices expected to start in the mid-$100,000s. The general contractor for the project will be R.E. Hazard Contracting Company.
