Sarah Vistas, a five-unit affordable housing project by the San Diego Community Housing Corp., is expected to be ready for sale by mid-January. The five row homes at 3140-3156 Franklin Ave. are each 1,421 square feet with three bedrooms. Weiland Development is the consultant, Pacific 17 the construction manager and Robin J. Franklin the architect. Construction lending was provided by California Bank & Trust and Washington Mutual.
Barratt American Inc. has acquired a 26-acre parcel in Carmel Valley from D.R. Horton for approximately $29 million and plans to build a 149-home neighborhood for the market in late 2000. The project will be part of a Horton planned community nearby tentatively known as Torrey Del Mar. Barratt plans a price range from the mid-$400,000s to the mid-$500,000s with three beginning floor plans from 2,500 to 3,000 square feet.
McMillin Homes on Saturday will release the nine-home seventh phase of Crown Collection in Scripps Ranch Villages. Prices will range from the low to mid-$500,000s. The 110-unit Crown Collection has four one- and two-story floor plans from 2,507 to 3,590 square feet and four or five bedrooms.
Centex Homes on Saturday will release 15 homes as the third phase of The Enclave in master-planned La Costa Valley. The Enclave offers four one- and two-story floor plans with two to five bedrooms on 2,000 to 2,800 square feet. Prices begin in the $400,000s.
Davidson Communities reports all 62 homes at Amador in Carmel Valley have been sold. The neighborhood opened in November 1998. Davidson is also building 21 homes at The Meadows Del Mar with prices starting at $1,169,000; 33 homes at Sage Canyon in Encinitas with prices from the high $400,000s; and 81 homes at Cielo in Rancho Santa Fe priced from $860,000.
Ayres Land Company allocated more than $2 million to improve existing road facilities on Telegraph Canyon Road in Chula Vista and TC Construction completed the project. The road runs past Ayres' Sunbow master-planned community.
Kennedy Development of California has three homes remaining in the second phase of its 22-home Arbor Hills Estates in Escondido. The one- and two-story floor plans range from 3,000 to 3,500 square feet with four or five bedrooms. Prices begin in the upper $300,000s.
Barratt American reports 43 of a planned 60 homes at its Knightsbridge Country Estates in Olivenhain have been sold and sales on the ninth phase have begun. The homes are priced from $999,000 to $1,359,962. Plans offer floor plans from 4,489 to 5,513 square feet with three to six bedrooms.
Ryland Homes reports sales at its master-planned Twin Oaks Valley Ranch in San Marcos have reach 150 homes. A total of 322 are planned for the current second half of the project. The developer said the first increment of 292 homes sold out last year, five years after it opened. Three months after the second phase opened last April, 115 homes had sold.
Barratt American reports 23 of an eventual 46 homes have been sold at its Victoria Ranch in San Marcos. Prices range from $484,990 to $765,990. Single-level floor plans range from 3,175 to 3,921 square feet with three to six bedrooms.
Ryland Homes reports eight sales reservations have been made in the first two weeks of presales at its Camden Park in Aliso Viejo. Four two-story townhome floor plans range from 1,197 to 1,560 square feet with two and three bedrooms. Prices begin in the low $200,000s.
Barratt American reports the preview sellout of the four-home first phase of its 44-home Olive Hill Ranch in Murata. Preview sales of the second phase are now under way, priced from $400,000 to $467,500. Five one- and two-story floor plans range from 3,212 to 3,921 square feet with three to six bedrooms.
Ryland Homes reports 63 homes have been sold in 12 months since the grand opening at its Riverglen urban infill community of Riverglen in the Floral Park section of Santa Ana. Riverglen floor plans range from 2,769 to 3,714 square feet with three to six bedrooms. Prices range from $361,215 to $454,990.
