Davidson Communities on Saturday will release the first increment of the first phase of Cielo at Rancho Santa Fe. Prices are expected to start at $885,000. The planned 81 homes will have floor plans from 3,719 to 6,234 square feet with four to six bedrooms.


Centex Homes on Saturday will release six homes as the third phase of its Patina neighborhood at Bernardo Springs in San Diego. Prices will range from $424,990 to $304,990. The 99-home neighborhood offers four one- and two-story floor plans from 2,716 to 3,634 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


McMillin Homes is nearing a sellout at its Castilla neighborhood in Rancho del Rey in Chula Vista and on Saturday will release for sale the four models. Prices will start in the mid-$400,000s. Castilla offers four one- and two-story floor plans from 2,496 to 3,211 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Fieldstone opened the12th phase of its Fieldstone Horizons at Sunbow in Chula Vista on January 15. By the end of the weekend, the developer accepted nine deposits on the new 12-home phase. The neighborhood floor plans range from 1,923 to 2,872 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices start at $236,990.


Pardee Homes has broken ground on its 216-unit Sabre Springs Village luxury apartment complex at Sabre Springs. There will be 48 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units of approximately 595 square feet each, and 168 two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments of about 918 square feet. The rental office is expected to open in July and units will be available in August.


Barratt American has been averaging four home sales a month at its Beachwood enclave in Oceanside and has kicked off its sixth phase. A total of 29 of a planned 61 homes have been sold in the seven months since the grand opening. Prices range from $289,990 to $345,400. Two-story floor plans range from 2,343 to 2,963 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Pacific Bay Homes LLC reported averaging 7.66 sales a week for 1999's third quarter at its Rose Arbor, one of four neighborhoods in master-planned Rolling Hills Ranch in Chula Vista. Forty homes have been sold to date. Two-story floor plans range from 1,523 to 1,936 square feet with three or four bedrooms. Prices start in the low $200,000s.


Ryland Homes reports more than 1,000 people attended the model grand opening at its retirement community, The Oasis at Menifee. Eight homes were sold, bringing total kick-off sales to 46. The Oasis offers three housing types from the high $140,000s to the high $290,000s, and from 1,295 to 2,455 square feet.
