Fieldstone Communities will hold a model grand opening Saturday of its Monterey Point at EastLake Trails in east Chula Vista. The neighborhood offers floor plans from 2,564 to 2,950 square feet with thee to five bedrooms. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.


McMillin Homes will release on Saturday 11 homes as the first half of phase four at its Alcala neighborhood in master-planned McMillin Lomas Verdes at Otay Ranch. The release is priced from the mid-$200,000s. The 87-home neighborhood offers a trio of three-story homes from 1,976 to 2,454 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Shea Homes San Diego on Sunday will hold a grand opening of three models at its Woodbridge at Otay Ranch. The pre-model homes released for sale range in price from the mid- to high $200,000s. Woodbridge's 123 homes offer three floor plans from 2,529 to 2,888 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Lucas & Mercier Development on Saturday will hold a model grand opening at its 42-home Willowcreek project in Vista. Willowcreek's four one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,159 to 3,277 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices will start in the mid-$200,000s.


Techbilt Construction Corp. this weekend is releasing 21 homes in two phases at Bernardo Santa Fe in master-planned Lomas del Lago Estates north of Rancho Bernardo. Prices range from $380,000 to $505,000. The floor plans range from 2,205 to 3,340 square feet with three and four bedrooms.


TopMark Communities reports only seven homes remain for sale of the planned 34 homes at its StoneRidge Estates in Alpine. Prices range from $400,000 to $476,000. StoneRidge Estates floor plans range from 3,028 to 3,778 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Ryland Homes reports 159 homes have been sold at its 322-home, master-planned Twin Oaks Valley Ranch in San Marcos. Two neighborhoods, Monterey Collection and Highlands Collection, are being offered. Floor plans range from 1,973 to 3,172 square feet with prices from $269,990 TO $435,620.


Shea Homes San Diego on March 2 will hold a grand opening of the restoration of the Julia Liffreing House at 1718 Hillsdale Road in El Cajon. The archeological dig and house restoration was funded by Shea Homes. The house was designed and built around 1893 by architect John B. Stannard for Julia Liffreing. The restoration architect was Wayne Donaldson. Gillespie Design handled the landscaping of the four acres around the house. The archeological study of the property was led by Stephen Van Wormer.

The restored house and garden will be part of Hillsdale Ranch, a neighborhood by Shea Homes.


Techbilt Development has two homes remaining at Del Lago on the Greens at Lomas Del Lago Estates in Escondido. The two homes are 2,447 square feet with four bedrooms and 2,186 square feet with two bedrooms. Prices are $397,000 and $402,000.
