Fieldstone Communities this weekend will hold a grand opening for its Poinsettia Cove in Carlsbad.

The 117-community has four floor plans from 2,033 to 2,629 square feet with three and four bedrooms. Prices start in the low $400,000s. Poinsettia Cove is across the street from the South Carlsbad State Beach.


McMillin Homes reports a sellout of all 10 first-phase homes on the first day of the recent grand opening at Brookhaven in the Temeku Hills Golf and Country Club community in Temecula.

The seven-home phase 2A was released last Saturday at prices from the $190,000s.

The 140-home community offers a trio of two-story floor plans from 2,261 to 2,673 square feet with three to five bedrooms.

Some 1,350 homes are planned at Temeku Hills. McMillin Homes is currently marketing the Sunrise, Northwind and Legends neighborhoods. Temeku Hills is being designed and carried out by McMillin Land Development. McMillin Homes and McMillin Land Development are part of The Corky McMillin Cos.


Barratt American has begun sales on the ninth phase of its Monterey Collection at Quartz Hill in Lancaster. Thirty-five sales have been logged at the 78-home community.

The homes in the ninth phase are priced from $242,490 to $277,490. Some homes from earlier phases are priced from $229,990.

Monterey has three two-story floor plans from 2,498 to 3,365 square feet with three to six bedrooms.
