Fieldstone Communities Inc. reported a grand opening day sellout of all 15 homes in the first two phases of its Poinsettia Cove community across the street from South Carlsbad State Beach. The opening was preceded by a campout by some buyers.

Following the Aug. 5 sellout, the homebuilder announced the release of the 12-home third phase, which is being offered on a first come, first served basis. The 117-home community has four floor plans from 2,033 to 2,629 square feet with three or four bedrooms. Prices begin in the low $400,000s.


Barratt American reports that five homes and two models remain for sale at its Beachwood community. Production homes are at prices from $294,990 to $402,900. The two models are prices from $345,990 to $409,990.

The 61-home community offered four two-story floor plans from 2,343 to 2,963 square feet with three to six bedrooms.


Fieldstone Communities Inc. is releasing on Saturday six upgraded models of its Fieldstone Horizons at Sunbow in Chula Vista. Prices start from $282,335. Floor plans range from 1,923 to 2,872 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Innovative Resort Communities reports its seven-home first phase at the 1,740-acre Cielo development in Rancho Santa Fe is under construction. Pre-model prices start at $2 million. A total of 23 custom homes at Cielo are planned by Innovative Resort.

The homes will range from 6,100 to 7,000 square feet and occupy one- to two-acre lots.


Ryland Homes has released the 16th phase of homes for sale at its Rancho San Vicente development in Ramona. Prices range from the $250,000s to the $290,000s. One hundred forty-one of the planned 241 homes have been sold. The development held its grand opening in early 1999.

One-story floor plans range from 2,011 to 2,455 square feet with three and four bedrooms.


Ground has been broken on Heritage Park, a 10-acre neighborhood park in Otay Ranch. The $3.45 million park was designed by Burton Associates and Rob Welington Quigley. Erickson-Hall Construction Co. will be the contractor. It will be the first city park in the 5,300-ace Otay Ranch. The centerpiece will be a 5,900-square-foot community center.


Barratt American reports 93 sales at its Rembrant in Temecula, and the release of eight homes as phase 14. Prices for the release range from $189,990 to $220,990. One- and two-story floor plans range from 1,715 to 2,529 square feet with three or four bedrooms.


McMillin Homes on Saturday will release the second half of phase two of Brookhaven at Temeku Hills Golf and Country Club in Temecula. The seven homes will be priced from the low $200,000s.

The homebuilder reports four of the seven homes in the first half of phase two were sold immediately. The 140-home community has three two-story floor plans from 2,261 to 2,673 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Barratt American has launched the 19th phase of its Mirada on the Green at Moreno Valley Ranch in Moreno Valley. Current Mirada prices range from $204,990 to $255,990. Floor plans range from 2,248 to 3,262 square feet with three or four bedrooms. Of 150 homes planned, 139 have been sold.
