Desert Troon Cos. reports that nearly 75 percent of the units at its 464 Prospect development in La Jolla have been sold just four months after ground was broken. The 47-home project is under construction on the former Scripps Memorial Hospital site and is scheduled for completion in March 2001. The one- and two-story units range from 1,500 to more than 6,000 square feet and are priced from $650,000 to more than $4 million.


McMillin Homes reports that two of the first neighborhoods at the 300-acre first phase of master-planned McMillin Lomas Verdes in Otay Ranch are nearing closeout.

Shea Homes San Diego has only one unit remaining at its Diego neighborhood, and only a handful remain at Cornerstone Communities' Capri.

Three new neighborhoods just opened for sales: Vista Sonrisa by Western Pacific and McMillin's Primrose and Marigold.

Sales at three other established neighborhoods, such as Montecito by Cornerstone and McMillin's Veranda and Alcala, are well under way.


Ryland Homes reports six home sales at its 41-home Hidden Meadows project in Vista following the grand opening the last week of August. First phase prices range from the $390,000s to the $450,000s. Four one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,673 to 3,646 square feet with three to six bedrooms.


Innovative Resort Communities reports its has closed escrow on 500 acres off Deer Springs Road at Interstate 15 in Escondido and will begin building High Point. The project will have 39 lots ranging from 2 to 80 acres. Each site will have a 20,000-square-foot construction pad. Lot owners will have the option of building their own home or purchasing one of several custom floor plans from Innovative Resort.


Ryland Homes reports 22 home sold at its 45-unit Hometown community in Rancho Cucamonga, and five of the eight homes in the third phase have also been purchased. Current prices range from $304,990 to $358,990. Four floor plans range from 2,566 to 4,027 square feet with three to six bedrooms.


Barratt American reports sales at its 87-home Sundance neighborhood in Rosamond have exceeded the one-third mark with 29. Current prices range from $131,135 to $163,900. Four floor plans range from 1,586 to 2,529 square feet with three and four bedrooms.


Ryland Homes reports that 112 homes have been sold at its Ryland Oasis in Menifee in the seven months since the grand opening. A total of 1,150 homes are planned in three separate neighborhoods.
