“San Diego Business History – 125 Years,” by Joe Guerin & Tracye Grimes

Judges’ Comments: While there were more visually stunning entries, the depth and character of the content made this entry a hands-down winner for its writing, photography and layout combination. The cover was a great topper capturing the entire theme cleanly and cleverly. A great deal of research and application to why the reader should want to know this made the end result satisfying to readers even if they don’t live in the area.
