Pacific Defense Systems, of National City, was awarded on June 4 an $87,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple-award contract, to provide Naval Surface Warfare Center, Combatant Craft Department, marine boatyard and industrial support services. Marine boatyard and industrial support includes materials and services related to specific modifications, upgrades, service-life extension and repairs to non-commissioned boats, service craft or their associated systems, and periodic maintenance, as tasked by delivery orders issued under this contract. Work will be performed in San Diego and is expected to be completed by June 2009. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet, with six offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-04-D-4423).

Al Larson Boat Shop at Terminal Island, Calif., is being awarded a potential $87,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple-award contract, to provide Naval Surface Warfare Center, Combatant Craft Department, marine boatyard and industrial support services. Marine boatyard and industrial support includes materials and services related to specific modifications, upgrades, service-life extension and repairs to non-commissioned boats, service craft or their associated systems, and periodic maintenance, as tasked by delivery orders issued under this contract. Work will be performed in San Pedro, Calif. (50 percent) and San Diego, Calif. (50 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2009. Air Force contracts Lockheed Martin Corp., Owego, N.Y.; Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Computer Sciences Corp., Fairbourn, Ohio; Accenture National Security Services LLC, Reston, Va.; Northrop Grumman Information Technology, McLean, Va., are being awarded a $498,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for information technology services such as pre-development and new development, technical refresh, legacy maintenance and process improvement support. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. This work will be complete by June 2009. Solicitation began October 2003 and negotiations were completed May 2004.
