At Industrial Commercial Systems Inc. we believe strongly in training for future success. With our three-year, in-house mentoring program, we offer an avenue for our employees to progress through the ranks while learning all aspects of our business. While in this program, employees spend a specified amount of time in the field in each of our divisions, including sheet metal, plumbing and industrial. Field foreman and journeyman with many years of experience in their trade act as the mentors in this phase of the training. With field training complete, the employee moves into the office to spend time in our estimating department, where they are trained in current estimating techniques and attend classes on CAD drafting as well as HVAC design. A move to our new construction division comes next where they have the opportunity to shadow a project manager, learn proper PM techniques, attend project meetings, complete project paperwork, perform scheduling, etc. Upon completion of training, our employee is now fully capable of performing at the level of project manager, estimator or salesman (whichever their focus). Whatever division they are placed in, they are highly trained, knowledgeable and are regarded as an invaluable asset to our team. Industrial Commercial Systems Inc. believes in training employees who are interested in growing with our company. We also offer a structured foreman training course to prepare our foreman for all aspects required of them for a successful project completion. This includes, blueprint reading, project layout, system design, paperwork, etiquette for dealing with customers, strategies for handling employee relations, the value of a regimented safety program, etc. Our training does not stop there. We also offer education assistance for all of our employees. This program offers reimbursement for dollars spent by our employees to further their education in an area that will enhance their job performance. We strongly believe that our employees are valuable assets to the success of our company.
