Kham Tang has been on the board of the ABA since 2002. Currently, she serves on the executive board in the capacity of Vice President of Marketing/Boards & Committees. In addition, she chairs the Marketing and Annual Dinner committees.
Outside of her volunteer role, she serves as vice president of marketing for AFL Telecommunications. Kham manages the nationwide strategic marketing of AFL's telecommunications service lines (wireless, network, enterprise, government, electric utility, and professional services). AFL Telecommunications is a subsidiary of Alcoa Inc.
Kham also manages strategic community relations through her involvement with Alcoa Foundation, Alcoa's grant making non-profit arm. Alcoa Foundation has invested over $371 million in its communities around the world.
Prior to joining Alcoa/AFL Telecommunications, Kham worked with several multi-national companies overseas. She was the countrywide business development director for Seagram Vietnam and reported directly to the managing director of Indochina. Kham also served as the product manager Indochina for Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, the largest luxury goods company in the world.
