Financial Management Software for Law Firms

For Deborah Avaro, life truly began at 40. It was at that "young" age that Deborah began her journey as a business owner.

After serving as a Law Firm Administrator and Controller for over 20 years, she gained the knowledge of how to run a law firm as a successful business.

This experience led to her serving as a law firm/business consultant across the country. Firms acknowledge that she is uniquely qualified to understand and relate to the needs of both the partners and the staff within the law firm.

In 1998 she founded PowerLaw, Inc. The company specializes in helping law firms run as profitable businesses. The PowerLaw product is powerful, proprietary financial software specifically designed for the legal industry. The Solana Beach-based firm provides the tools that dramatically increase law firms’ productivity and profitability. The software is extremely user friendly and firms recoup their investment within the first three months. PowerLaw is the only software company of its kind that offers free conversion and training.

PowerLaw has received very high ratings when reviewed and has been called the "Powerful All-In-One Solution." As CEO Deborah states, "I truly love what I do, and I look forward to every opportunity to improve the next law firm with the installation of our high performance software."

With all her responsibilities Deborah still finds time to serve as the newly elected Treasurer for the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce. She is also the chair for the Solana Beach Fiesta Del Sol. She has been a member of Soroptimists and has volunteered at Rancho Coastal Animal Shelter. Deborah believes in being an involved member of the community and has participated in many fundraising events to benefit breast cancer, diabetes, and heart disease to name a few.

Deborah lost her Dad to a massive heart attack at the young age of 69 before he could celebrate her achievements. As a result health and fitness are very important to her. Deborah says, "The heart is a precious thing that must be cared for so you may share it with others."

The most influential person in her life was her grandmother who came here from Italy at the age of 22.

"She always told me I would be very successful in everything I did, her confidence still drives me to do my best today," states Deborah.

When Deborah’s not working or volunteering you’ll find her power walking with her Dalmatian, Cyrus.
