KB Home added its first Imperial Valley community to the growing list of the San Diego Division roster. The grand model opening at Sienna Trails in El Centro took place on May 7 and offered potential homebuyers a sneak peak at their future homes.

The community includes five flexible floor plans ranging from 1,740 to 2,873 square feet. The homes feature two to six bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, family rooms, lofts/dens, walk-in closets and two-car garages.

El Centro offers a gamut of recreational activities including hiking, mountain biking and off-road sports. Homebuyers in Imperial Valley also have easy access to Interstate 8 for commuting or trips to San Diego and Arizona destinations.

Another community where KB Home is also building is Campo in East County, one of the few underdeveloped areas left in San Diego. In this small town with a little over 2,000 people, the rolling hills and country life appeals to those who wish to stay away from the hustle and bustle that has become typical of San Diego's city life.

The single story homes feature three to four bedrooms and two baths, spacious master suites, fireplaces, family rooms, two-car garages. The community offers recreational areas complete with a swimming pool, tot lot and open sports areas.

"The Imperial Valley and Campo are at the heart of the burgeoning Southern California region and provide a great place to build KB homes to meet the needs of homebuyers in the San Diego and Imperial Valley areas," said KB Home San Diego/Imperial County Division President Martin Lighterink.

KB Home is continually expanding throughout Southern California, looking for ideal places to build homes and create communities.
