In an expansion of its renowned multifamily real estate sales and advisory services group, Burnham Real Estate * ONCOR International announces the addition of Mack Langston and Cathryn Low, two of San Diego County's leading apartment sales specialists.
Known as Langston & Low, the team has worked together for the past five years. Over the past year alone, the team closed sales of more than $70 million.
Langston & Low are well-known for their expertise in all aspects of multifamily sales and investments with a strong emphasis on condo conversions. They offer customized tax-advantaged strategies that allow owners to sell appreciated property while eliminating capital gains tax and property management responsibilities.
"Mack and Cathryn bring a wealth of knowledge and an outstanding track record of helping San Diego County apartment owners, buyers and sellers maximize the value of their investment," said Stath Karras, president and CEO of Burnham Real Estate. "We are delighted to have them on board."
Langston & Low have earned a reputation for being at the forefront of developing real estate trends. They are frequent guest speakers at industry forums on condo conversion.
Additionally, Langston & Low are highly regarded for providing tailored real estate strategies that help their clients to maximize tax benefits, cash flow and return on investments. They conduct regular workshops to educate rental owners on the broad array of alternatives to the conventional 1031 exchange, including triple net leases, tenant-in-common investments, private annuities and charitable remainder trusts.
Langston holds a California broker's license and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) candidate. He has been active in the San Diego County Apartment Association (SDCAA) and Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and is a past president of the San Antonio Apartment Association. He holds degrees in accounting and law, and is admitted to the bar in Texas.
Low holds both California real estate and securities licenses, allowing her to assist owners with increasingly popular tenant-in-common programs. She serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the SDCAA, and is a frequent author and speaker on various multifamily issues. She previously has served as a C.P.A. with Price Waterhouse, and later was chief financial officer of Yankee Bank in Boston. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Mt.
