With 63,500 square feet of high quality office condo space available for purchase, RiverView at Santee will have much to offer small business owners, including an easily accessible reverse-commute location off of SR-52 and SR-125. Due to begin construction this summer, the 108-acre office project is part of Santee Town Center, a 700-acre master planned development from Ryan Cos.

RiverView is the only office project in Santee and promises to be the largest and most prominent business center in San Diego's rapidly growing East County. According to Matt Reid, vice president at Ryan Cos., interest in RiverView has been gaining momentum as prospective buyers are learning more about the advantages of owning a building in Santee.

"Most people don't think of high profile office space when they think of East County," Reid explained. "But that's changing as a result of an education process that's occurring throughout San Diego County."

The chance to own a LEED-Certified building is another key advantage RiverView offers small business owners. A voluntary national standard for developing high performance, sustainable buildings, LEED certification benefits include reducing energy and utilities consumption costs and increasing occupant health and productivity.

"The concept really hasn't quite caught on yet in San Diego, but in many cities across the country, including Sacramento, you can't build a building that's not LEED Certified," said Reid. "The movement is coming here and it's going to catch a lot of people by surprise, so we think we're ahead of the curve."

To provide small business owners interested in buying a RiverView building with flexible and attractive SBA financing options, Ryan Cos. has partnered with California Bank & Trust. Reid said Ryan chose to align with California Bank & Trust because the bank exhibits the same core values and beliefs that it has.

"They have a great market understanding of the SBA program and walked us through it with a very clear, organized approach," he explained. "Working with California Bank & Trust, we're confident that when we're looking at a buyer, that buyer will be able to close. That assurance is huge for us."
