Pardee Homes congratulates its leaders — and the Transcript — for its accomplishments

Pardee Homes is pleased to congratulate The Daily Transcript’s Top 120 Influential honorees. We are particularly proud that Pardee Homes President and Chief Executive Officer Mike McGee was selected for this honor.

Mike McGee and Beth Fischer, head of Pardee Homes’ San Diego operations, also wish to congratulate The Daily Transcript for its 120 years of outstanding journalism for our region! During this time, The Daily Transcript has been an important contributor to San Diego’s civic life.

Mike, Beth and their team at Pardee Homes are working every day to improve the San Diego region through their leadership in the building industry and their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all who live here.

Since 1921, Pardee Homes has provided new home choices for a wide spectrum of households. Our company’s particular focus is on developing and building master-planned communities that offer schools, parks, infrastructure and preserved open space. As part of its ongoing commitment to the environment, Pardee Homes developed and implemented its LivingSmart program, which combines environmentally sensitive and energy-conscious features and options and pairs them with exceptional architecture and functional design to help preserve San Diego’s lands and water.

The company has been building not just homes, but neighborhoods and communities in San Diego for more than 52 years. Pardee also has a long-standing commitment to support local schools, organizations and charities in the communities where we build.

Last month, Pardee Homes celebrated the site dedication of Pacific Highlands Ranch Fire Station #47. This new Fire Station is the result of a working collaboration between the city of San Diego and Pardee Homes that will allow the station to be built years earlier than otherwise would have been possible. Pardee Homes’ Pacific Highlands Ranch is a model for master-planned communities in the region. Surrounded by nearly 1,300 acres of preserved natural habitat just east of Carmel Valley, Pacific Highlands Ranch plans include a multi-use trail system for hiking and biking, new elementary and high schools, wildlife corridors, employment centers and parks. Pacific Highlands Ranch joins other Pardee master-planned communities in San Diego, including Sabre Springs, Ocean View Hills and Carmel Valley.
