Urban West, a Santa Ana-based developer, announced it has purchased a 1.94 acre parcel on the corner of El Camino Real and Town Garden Road in Bressi Ranch and is seeking approvals to rezone the parcel to develop Bressi Ranch Medical Plaza.
The proposed two-story, 20,000 square foot building will be the only medical office building in the master-planned community of Bressi Ranch located next to Tri-City Medical Center's new Wellness Complex in Carlsbad.
It will offer for-sale office suites designed to meet the needs of medical professionals that want to take advantage of the equity-building benefits of office ownership versus leasing.
"Bressi Ranch Medical Plaza will provide medical practitioners with the office space they need and that is not currently available in the area," said David DiRienzo, president of Urban West. "And given its unique location next to Tri-City Medical Center's new Wellness Complex, we are confident the City of Carlsbad will approve rezoning this site to allow medical use."
Bressi Ranch Medical Plaza will feature a contemporary look with large, full vision windows set in a burnished block façade creating a balance of visual integrity and practical application.
Urban West anticipates securing all approvals and plans to break ground in December 2007.
