Three structures completed in Downtown Encinitas

A 10,000-square-foot, mixed-use project within the downtown Encinitas specific plan area has been completed. The project consists of three separate and adjacent structures.

The first building is a renovated auto repair facility with new office/retail space above. Next to it is a new steel and glass street-front automobile showroom.

The final building is an adaptive re-use of an existing auto repair building that will house the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. Above it are two new living units featuring outdoor spaces that adapt to both urban living and beach community lifestyles.

The project architect was Jensvold Associates of Del Mar. The owner/builder of the complex is Charlie Sougias of Encinitas.
