Johnson & Jennings working on TIs for SDCERS office

Johnson & Jennings General Contracting has begun tenant improvement construction for the new offices of the San Diego City Employees' Retirement System (SDCERS). SDCERS is relocating to the third and fourth floors of the First National Bank building from its previous office in the Wells Fargo Tower in downtown San Diego.

Sentre Partners, owner and property manager of the First National Bank building, is providing oversight for the project, while Kirt Gilliland of Irving Hughes is acting as construction manager. Ir2 Interior Resource is the architect and designer for the 24,000-square-foot remodeling project. Patrick Lane is project manager for SDCERS.

Johnson & Jennings' scope of work includes construction of new corporate offices, meeting rooms and a boardroom, and the addition of a new server room and employee lunchroom.

Carl Haines is project manger for the general contractor with Mike Harrison as onsite superintendent. Subcontractors include AO Reed, Bergelectric, Spooner's, American Insulation, McBride Door and Hardware, Russell Glass, Interior Specialties, East County Tile, B&B Acoustics, Howard's Rug Co., Quality Painting, Schmidt Fire Protection and KMP Plumbing.
