Recently constructed McMillin Homes at the Quintessa neighborhood within the resort-style Rolling Hills Ranch community in eastern Chula Vista are now available for viewing and purchase, announced Pattie Walker, vice president of sales for McMillin Homes.

"These homes represent two new home plans never before offered at Quintessa," she said.

The new Esperanza plan offers a leg-stretching 3,361 to 3,582 square feet of living space. This new two-story design features five to seven bedrooms and three to five baths, with many configurations possible. This home also includes a standard oversized bonus room. Prices start in the mid-$700,000s.

Providing 2,692 to 2,885 square feet of living space, the highly flexible Alegria plan boasts a single-story design featuring three to five bedrooms and 2 1/2 to four baths, depending on the buyer's choice of options. Prices begin in the low $700,000s.

"With the flexibility and ample upgrades, the Esperanza and Alegria plans are a graceful addition to the neighborhood and will be fitting for any size family," Walker said.

All of the new homes now available include stainless steel appliances, slab granite in the kitchens, with electrical packages, including audio and home theater pre-wiring throughout the home.

"Each residence also features custom-designed tile and natural stone treatments in the master bathrooms in addition to other upgrades," added Walker.

Quintessa residents enjoy access to the private Coastal Hills Swim Club. The Tuscan-themed club features a large spa, junior Olympic-size pool, children's wading pool, barbecue area and a patio area, paved with natural stone surrounded by palm, pepper and olive trees. An indoor lounge is available for private parties.

The expansive 28-acre Montevalle Park within Rolling Hills Ranch includes three multipurpose fields, three basketball courts, two tennis courts, an off-leash dog area, archery and skate area, picnic area, a walking trail and a 20,000-square-foot community center including a gymatorium and senior annex.

Nearby is Salt Creek Golf Club, formerly The Auld Golf Course and one of eastern Chula Vista's best-kept secrets. It is one of the little known gems of golf in the South County. Panoramic views of rolling Southern California countryside all the way to the Pacific Ocean combine with 18 distinctive holes from five sets of tees to make an exceptional golf experience.

Rolling Hills Ranch is also home to Thurgood Marshall Elementary School and MacKenzie Creek Neighborhood Park.

To reach Rolling Hills Ranch, take East H Street off Interstate 805 in Chula Vista and head east approximately six miles. Follow the signs to the Rolling Hills Ranch community.
