Johnson & Jennings works on Scripps Summit

Johnson & Jennings General Contracting has completed three projects and has two more under way at the Scripps Summit building at 12121 Scripps Summit Drive in San Diego.

The new commercial class "A" building is owned and managed by Transwestern. Bobbie Purcell is Transwestern's property manager.

Johnson & Jennings' finished work in the building includes 1.5 floors of corporate offices for National Pen Company, as well as new offices for Marvell Technology Group, Ltd. (Nasdaq: MRVL).

The National Pen project, valued at $2.4 million, included build-out of private offices, open office areas, a marketing department, training rooms and meeting facilities. The Marvell Technology tenant improvement project included buildout of large cubicle areas, conference rooms and a break lounge.

Johnson & Jennings is now beginning construction on approximately 35,000 square feet of space for Carl Zeiss Inc. and A&M Investment Management. Completion for both projects is slated for November 2008.

Carl Haines is senior project manager for the general contractor, with Robert Gutierrez as onsite superintendent.
