C.W. Driver: More than 75 years and growing

C.W. Driver is a multi-faceted builder providing general contracting, construction management and design/build services to Southern California. Originally founded in Los Angeles nearly a century ago, C.W. Driver is the oldest active licensed builder headquartered in Southern California.

C.W. Driver ranks nationally among the top 100 construction managers and top 400 general contractors. With an intense focus on partnerships, technological advancements and industry diversification, C.W. Driver moves steadily forward. This dynamic approach solidifies the company's long-standing presence while proactively emerging into new markets. Building landmark projects since 1919, C.W. Driver has a solid reputation of stability and integrity that distinguishes our team.

C.W. Driver established its San Diego office in 2006, and has grown it to more than 55 people. All offices have a dedicated staff of preconstruction managers and estimators in addition to a talented pool of operations personnel. C.W. Driver is currently building projects for Palomar Community College District, Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, San Diego Community College District, San Diego State University, Grossmont Union High School District, San Marcos Unified School District, Target Corp., Merlone Geier Partners, Sudberry Properties and Phase 3 Development.

Enjoying phenomenal growth for more than three-quarters of a century, C.W. Driver adheres to the strictest of standards for providing quality services at a good value. The company is headquartered in Pasadena with offices in Irvine, San Diego and Ontario.
