With the recent enactment of the stimulus bill, many cities in North County are preparing for the influx of stimulus funds by soliciting design firms for their ideas and suggestions for local infrastructure projects that would help to grow and improve our communities.
Although much of the stimulus money has been earmarked for freeway and "shovel-ready" projects, public funds that would have originally been used for these construction projects will now be free to be used elsewhere. The money our municipalities are saving with the projects that will now be funded by the stimulus bill can soon be made available for future design projects.
A great majority of these future projects will include improvements to major arterial roads and busy city thoroughfares. O'Day Consultants has been instrumental in designing several key conduits in North County that connect our inland communities to our coastal neighbors. Among them are: College Boulevard (Oceanside), Cannon Road (Carlsbad), San Elijo Road (San Marcos), Faraday Avenue (Carlsbad), Leucadia Boulevard (Encinitas), Rancho Santa Fe Road (San Marcos) and Melrose Drive (Carlsbad).
Please see our advertisement for a map with the location of these projects.
