Construction is complete on The Lofts at 707 Tenth Avenue, a new mixed-use residential building located in downtown San Diego's East Village neighborhood. KMA Architecture & Engineering provided design development and construction documents for the project and Austin Veum Robbins Partners designed the project owned by Oliver McMillan.
"We are proud to be a major contributor to downtown San Diego's skyline with The Lofts at 707 Tenth Avenue and three additional residential projects in the area," said Joyce Peabody, principal architect of KMA. "Our team went to great lengths to design common areas conducive for residents to enjoy socializing including a movie theater and outdoor fire pit."
The Lofts at 707 Tenth Avenue is located on G Street, between 10th and 11th avenues. The residential building is within walking distance of PETCO Park and restaurants, shops and nightlife in the neighboring Gaslamp District. The eight-level, 137,700-square-foot structure features a sleek, modern design inspired by the flourishing commercial and residential development of downtown's East Village. The contemporary, urban lofts sit above street-level retail and live/work space and feature underground parking.
