An open house and hardhat event last November brought together more than 200 potential residents and supporters of Paradise Village, the largest senior residential development project in San Diego's South Bay.
Paradise Village Senior Living Community is a Mediterranean-style, 12-acre gated community enhanced with walking paths, gardens, waterfalls, palm trees, a tennis court, 18-hole putting green and an Olympic-sized indoor heated pool and hot tub in the fitness center.
Owned and operated by Portland-based Generations Design and Construction LLC, the 498-apartment, independent and assisted living community is located on East Fourth Street next to Paradise Valley Hospital.
The campus boasts views of the Coronado Bridge, harbor and San Diego city skyline. This private pay-only resort-style senior community brings a new level of luxury to the South Bay, and highlights the growth and revitalization that has come to National City.
Paradise Village is expected to move in residents in August.
Paradise Village has already brought more than 150 jobs to National City, and will bring another 120 or more once opened and moving in residents, expected in August. The development will bring nearly 700 residents who will patronize National City businesses and become part of the community.
